The Skalps started in 2016 as something of a vanity project for Dublin'er Tommy Byrne formerly of Present Arms fame who, upon approaching a significant birthday (not his 21st!), decided he wanted to “scalp” a few of his favorite musicians from the Ska scene to record some of his original tunes for posterity.
